Draft a story and put it up for review

Write down what should be built, as a story, in Claude Code. Nothing is recorded until a human accepts the draft in this chat.

Before you start

• Ground a topic before you write
• Connect Claude Code in the terminal

Command line

1. In a terminal at the project root, read whether the records here parse:

   revetly check
   

   Nothing here blocks an ingest — `revetly check --contract` explains each field.
   

2. Ask for the draft with /revetly-draft and what to build:

   /revetly-draft a verdict per criterion on every ship
   

   You should see Draft a story for review: … (as Claude Code shows it)

   Revetly cites the artifact ids it drafted from, so the next session can see them.

3. Accept the draft in this chat, then read where it landed:

   revetly doctor --offline
   

   [PASS] records repo   read in place (pbi = sources/backlog, …
   

Troubleshooting

• The reply says the draft is awaiting review. Nobody has answered it yet. Wait rather than asking for a second draft.
• The draft was accepted and came back uncommitted. This folder is not a git repository. Run git init here, then ask again.
