Manual 0.8.0

Override a setting for one project

Give one project its own answer to one of the instance's settings. It goes on reading every other setting from the instance.

Before you start

Configuration page

  1. Open the configuration page. If it is not open, run revetly config and open the address it prints.

  2. Turn on Advanced settings.

You should see Add override on the project's card.

  3. Select Add override on the project that needs its own answer.

You should see Watch and retries among the sections offered.

  4. Choose Watch and retries.

  5. Enter the seconds between passes in Watch interval. Revetly shows the instance's own value as the box's placeholder.

  6. Select Save.

You should see Remove override on that setting's row.

Command line

  1. In revetly.toml at the project root, restate one section under the project that needs its own answer:

    # revetly.toml
    [projects.alpha.watch]
    interval = 900

  2. Read what that project now runs on:

    revetly status --project alpha

Watch: a pass every 15m when a source has changed, …
