Work out what the first pass costs, run it, and read back what it wrote. Nothing reaches a provider until you accept the figure, and on a lite instance the figure is zero.
docs folder.Open the configuration page. If it is not open, run revetly config and
open the address it prints.
On the project's card, select Price the first pass.
You should see Run the first pass beside the figure.
Select Run the first pass.
You should see Done — <READ> episodes sent, <LINKS> links made.
Read the line under the read-back.
You should see <LIVE> artifact(s) live in this project.
In a terminal at the project root, price the pass before you run it:
revetly ingest --dry-run
DRY RUN — new: <NEW>, changed: <CHANGED>, unchanged: <UNCHANGED>, removed: <REMOVED>
Revetly moves nothing to price this — it reads every folder and every
checkout at the state already on this machine, brings none of them up to
date and records no connection date, and the READ POLICY: lines above the
figure say so.
Read the sources into CONTEXT:
revetly ingest
episodes sent: <SENT>, links added: <ADDED>, invalidated: <GONE>
Read back what CONTEXT holds now:
revetly status
<LIVE> live artifacts (<DELETED> deleted)
revetly ingest again. It picks up what the stopped pass had left, and what
already landed is neither sent nor paid for twice.
